JMU East Tower
This 6-floor building is new construction in the heart of Harrisonburg VA. It is a new addition to the JMU campus on the old site of the Rockingham Memorial Hospital. This building now houses lecture halls, a food science lab, a large teaching kitchen, many offices, as well as work spaces to accommodate the College of Health and Behavioral Studies now calling this building home.
FROM THE BOTTOM UP
With 6 floors of new construction, a persistent well-organized crew is necessary to complete the job. One of our foremen, Jose Salazar, was assigned to take the lead for this job.
Near the end of the project, many from the company came to help with touch-ups or other tasks around the site that needed to be cared for. All the final details and touch-ups were done with extra care to protect finishes completed by other trades. We etched and sealed concrete floors and hung wallcovering.
